The Sneaker Winterization Technology

Technology

Winter will shortly be upon us, and sneaker wearers do not want the squally weather preventing them from slipping into their favorite shoes. Sneaker makers are aware of this quagmire and intend to put it to rest. Major sneaker manufacturers, such as Nike, have embraced new technology in their most popular styles. The winterization technology allows the sneaker lover to have a fresh approach to new and fashionable styles suitable for winter wear without experiencing the discomfort of the cold temperatures associated with winter.
While each major brand may have its different view of the technology, they can all agree on one thing; winter is coming, and sneaker lovers are looking to don their sneakers during the calendar’s darkest months. Here are two of the coolest lifestyle sneakers that are set to get the winterization technology this season.

Converse
Sneaker fans know that Converse is one of the biggest brands in the sneaker industry. The brand welcomes its supporters to the Mountain Club. The offerings comprise the Bosey MC, which features a water-repellent canvas and a toe guard reinvented from the 1940s. They also have the Chuck Taylor MC18, which is inspired by rubber military boots designed by the brand in the 1950s. Last but not least, the Chuck Tailor All Star Lugged Winter, which features a fleece lining, an ore-Tex inner bootie, and waterproof nylon upper.

The Chuck Taylor MC18, however, leads the pack, also featuring Gore-Tex technology for water-resistance. The new footwear comes in black, carbon grey, and black birch colors this year. Chuck Taylor MC18’s classic design also has colored laces that are inspired for hiking and mountain climbing. Their “bunny boot” design is the brand’s heritage since the 1950s. The shoe’s upper is DWR-coated with a soft fleece lining on its inner face, a gusseted tongue, and an Ortholite insole.

Nike
Air Force 1 always gets applause each year when the brand updates this classic model. The praise has been louder in the recent years with Nike fusing Gore-Tex technology in the now-zippered bootie. Winterization technology offers a fresh and unique perspective with the Air Max 720 Horizon joining Nike’s collection of shoes with the technology.

Technical winter jackets inspired the design of the Air Max 720 Horizon. It features aggressive traction for handling rough surfaces and the tallest shoe platform in the vast Nike collection. The morning-to-night light transition across Mount Hood’s summit inspired the shoe’s colors. The shoe was released on the 1st of November, 2019.
