President Trump has always considered himself as a pro-life. However, if he is to maintain this legacy, he ought to rethink several decisions that he has made in the recent past such as ending the DACA program. For starters, this is a program that protects young immigrants in the US from deportation. This recommendation was coming from Pope Francis. The pope continued saying that because President Trump presents himself as a pro-lifer, he should understand that the cradle of life is the family. For this reason, it must be protected at all costs. He was speaking aboard the papa plane on Sunday where he held a press conference. He was returning to the Vatican after successfully touring Colombia for five days. During the same interview, the pope made it clear that looking at history, those who deny climate change will be dealt with by the phenomena itself thoroughly. At the same time, the pope mentioned that he was not sure about the details of the DACA law. He also mentioned that he knows that it doesn’t originate from the Congress but the executive branch. It’s for this reason that the pope thinks that the law can be re-thought to protect the young souls.

In the past, the pope and Donald Trump have crushed on the idea of immigration. The Pope stands firmly saying that people who build walls instead of bridges should not be considered as Christians. On his part, Donald Trump retaliated by saying that no religious leader was supposed to cast doubt over another man’s faith. The US Catholic bishops are also fighting the Trump administration regarding the rescinding of the DACA program. He addressed the issue of climate change as his plane was crossing the path of Hurricane Irma. He said that if the world don’t go back, it will definitely go down. The pope was referring to a recent study that gave recommendations regarding climate change. The study noted that should the world fail to reverse course, dire consequences are on their way. For instance, Pope Francis said that he was surprised a Russian boat managed to travel to the North Pole without the need of an icebreaker. He referred to the book of Psalms in the Old Testament when asked about why governments refused to address the issue of climate change. Pope Francis said that man was stupid and at the same time a hard-headed being. The pope said that he doesn’t understand the North Korea crisis.
